This year my beloved mother will turn 80 in Heaven!
The Riccardo e Marina Mantovani Foundation is organising many events and meetings to remember her with affection and gratitude.
In fact, during 2025 we will be holding an exhibition with all her painted porcelain and organising various open days to bring together, as she always did, many people in need of help, even if only for a simple piece of advice or a smile. A slideshow mounted with her photos and her words of wisdom has also been prepared:
With the AcquaMarina Project, the Riccardo e Marina Mantovani Foundation will help the Salesian Mission Amici di Adwa with sister Laura to build a village in Africa, precisely in Etiopia, starting with the construction of a well to have drinking water, then houses, a school for nurses, fields to cultivate, etc.
It will be called *AcquaMarina* because it is the name of a precious stone and our Foundation brings Life, which is the most precious good that exists.
*Acqua* (Water) is the first thing we will be able to give, thanks to the construction of the well.
*Marina*, as you know, is my mother’s name.
We will involve many people in the project: private individuals and associations, large and small, secular and religious. The entire project will be illustrated in a publication by Edizioni Mantovani and the progress of the work will always be visible on our website!
With the 30,000.00 euros sent in March by the Riccardo e Marina Mantovani Foundation, plenty of water was found by digging up to a depth of 127 metres, now with the 20,000.00 euros just sent, the work will be completed by making the necessary pipes to convey the water to the hospital and where it is needed. Good work and thanks to all those who are working alongside us to make this happen!
